Gibson saw his playing time decrease last year despite being one of the few players LeBron James actually trusted with the ball.

He has the ability to knock down outside shots and the team hopes he can develop into a more complete player.

He is one of the few players on the current roster that has some considerable scoring ability, something Cleveland desperately needs with the departure of James.

The Cavaliers have said they will look to make a trade if need be to open up playing time for Gibson.

James was less than pleased by the nasty letter Gilbert wrote to his fanbase ripping James apart.

LeBron said a lot of the stuff in the letter was not true, especially the part about him quitting on his team during the playoffs.

He said that Gilbert showed his true colors in the letter and that he didn’t care about James or his family.

It’s sad that James has to look to a letter from his former owner to find motivation. One would think an NBA championship would be enough to fuel his competitive side.

James’ big announcement on ESPN drew the ire of Cavaliers fans who held out hope he would remain in Cleveland.

The hometown boy’s decision to bolt a city that hasn’t seen a championship in many decades was just the latest bit of sports torture.

He recently came under even more scrutiny after taking out an ad in an Akron newspaper to thank those from his hometown who supported him all this time.

Fans in Cleveland wanted to feel the love as well, and now they have, although I’d say it’s too little, too late.

Also in the deal, the Cavaliers sent guard Sebastian Telfair to Minnesota for center Ryan Hollins and a second round pick.

The Cavaliers had enough of West’s off-the-court problems and are happy to dump that on another team.

Hollins is a very athletic, under-developed big man that the Cavaliers hope will become a mainstay in the paint.

Sessions is an athletic guard who can do a little bit of everything and is probably the best player in the deal.

New head coach Byron Scott wants to push the tempo more than past Cleveland teams.

The result is that 21-year old J.J. Hickson would likely move into Jamison’s spot in the lineup.

That means Jamison would have to move to small forward or to the bench, and it looks like the latter.

He was an excellent sixth man with the Dallas Mavericks, and Scott is hoping for similar results in Cleveland.

The Cavaliers really like Barnes’ toughness and ability to get after people on the defensive end of the floor.

He really increased his stock over the past couple of seasons with how well he played for Orlando.

The Celtics and Heat remain the favorites to land Barnes, but he is interested in the playing time he could find in Cleveland.

The Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks are also interested in Barnes.

The Cavaliers are obviously deeply angered and hurt by LeBron James’ departure, but they are moving on at this point.

Owner Dan Gilbert already wrote a very nasty note to Cavaliers fan expressing his dismay over James’ decision.

Since that time, Cleveland has channeled much of their energy to start moving past the James’ era.

Nothing really ends up happening anyway when such tampering investigations are launched.

James will head to South Beach after a courting by many other teams that really lasted a couple of years.

The only problem now for the NBA’s biggest star is that he is facing a serious backlash in the Cleveland area.

Fans feel that James sold out on Cleveland, especially by doing a one-hour, nationally televised special to make his backstabbing announcement.

James wants to win a championship, and joining Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh makes it a near certainty.

The team is in the process of asking former players like Chris Paul and Jason Kidd their thoughts on Scott.

It would be an interesting coaching choice given the way Scott was recently run out of New Orleans.

Scott was thought to be a players coach, but things did not go well for him after a brief period of success with the Hornets.

Since being fired by the team, Scott has been working as an NBA analyst for ESPN and ABC.

One of the big reasons Izzo turned down the job is that he was never able to speak with LeBron James.

Before taking the job, Izzo would want to make sure that he would have the opportunity to coach James.

Instead of coaching superstars in the NBA, Izzo will return to developing them at the college level.

Izzo said that the decision was a life choice, meaning he will not be entertaining any other offers in the future.
