Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Mo Williams will miss at least a month with a sprained left shoulder.
He is the team’s second leading scorer, so they really cannot afford to lose him for any great length of time.
LeBron James credited Williams with being the reason the team has soared to new heights the past two years.
The good news is that Williams will just need rest, not surgery, to heal up his injured left shoulder.
It’s a huge blow to the Cavaliers, who have been playing some great basketball and seem poised to make a title run.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are still eyeing up a trade with the Washington Wizards for forward Antawn Jamison.
The veteran forward was already a top trade target, but the likelihood that he will be dealt probably increased with the Gilbert Arenas situation.
The Wizards are without their star guard indefinitely and the team is already well below .500, so it would seem like the perfect time to rebuild.
The Cavaliers are the perfect fit for Jamison. They are looking for a savvy veteran who will fit in well with their team.
Jamison is smart, has playoff experience, is a good character guy and will be one of the team’s best scorers. What’s not to like?
